Gallery One: Sea Shells
There is something mysteriously magical about a sea shell, as though they are keepers of stories written in another language, in another place and time. The poem Sea Shell, by Amy Lowell, captures this so perfectly:
“Sea Shell, Sea Shell, sing me a song … Of fishes and corals under the waves, And seahorses stabled in great green caves … Sing of the things you know so well.”
Images are created with photographs and mixed media texturing.
